1976 California St, Pacific Heights

Elaborately Stick Italianate in style, built in 1883. This home stands as an example of a style's demise - its super active surface is a precursor to the Queen Anne style. The interior of 1976 California retains its original moldings, paneling and brass and crystal chandeliers. The front reception hall contains a 14 foot plate glass mirror, reputedly shipped from Europe.

7,170 square foot multi-unit Victorian that last sold for $2.25 million in 2003. Previous to that, the property sold for $803K in 1996.
