Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews is co-producing, Sean Charmatz is the head of story, and Peter Ackerman (FX’s “The Americans”) is writing the screenplay. David Maisel and Catherine Winder are executive producers. Sony Pictures Imageworks handles the animation. (Variety 4.20.19)

Celebrities and Their Angels

A sculpture of an angel by artist Jack Mealy commissioned by socialite and philanthropist Pat Montandon when she lived at this address in a home she dubbed the "enchanted cottage". The sculpture entitled "Angel of Hope", is carved out of the trunk of a large Monterrey Cypress at the edge of the driveway . The tree had to come down after a 1997 windstorm at which time Ms Montandon decided to have the carving done. At the time she was in the process of writing a book about angels, which explains the reference.
