HE WAS A PARTNER IN A CONFECTIONERY BUSINESS KNOWN AS ROTHSCHILD-EHRENPFORT. HIS DAUGHTER HENRITTE WAS THE FIRST WIFE OF THE DISTINGUISHED CALIFORNIA ANTHROPOLGIST, ALFRED KROEBER
